3300 Masson was previously an Esso Service Station from the 1950s to the mid-1970s when it closed and became a KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) restaurant which itself subsequently closed and the remaining building currently unoccupied (as of 2021). A vintage photo of a route 7 Montreal streetcar can be seen on page 185 of the September 2009 issue number 532 of Canadian Rail Magazine. In that photo, the streetcar is heading west on Masson (and not Mount Royal Avenue as erroneously indicated in the caption). In the background of the photo can be seen the former White Rose service station then located at 3322 Masson on the southeast corner with 12th Avenue. All White Rose stations were later purchased by Shell in 1962. 3300 Masson était auparavant une station-service Esso des années 1950 au milieu des années 1970 lorsqu'elle a fermé et est devenue un restaurant KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) qui a lui-même fermé par la suite et le bâtiment restant est actuellement inoccupé (à partir de 2021). Une photo d'époque d'un tramway de Montréal de la route 7 se trouve à la page 185 du numéro de septembre 2009 numéro 532 du Canadian Rail Magazine. Sur cette photo, le tramway se dirige vers l'ouest sur Masson (et non sur l'avenue du Mont-Royal comme indiqué par erreur dans la légende). En arrière-plan de la photo, on peut voir l'ancienne station-service White Rose alors située au 3322 Masson à l'angle sud-est avec la 12e Avenue. Toutes les stations White Rose ont ensuite été achetées par Shell en 1962.

Mes parents avaient acquis cette résidence dans les années 80 et y ont résidé plus de 20 ans. J’y étais locataire. Une maison magnifique, bien située en face de l’église St-Francois Solano! Un des meilleurs endroits où j’ai résidé.
